Ashraf Abu Rahmah, 28 years old, is an extraordinary token of heroic nonviolent resistance. His dauntless actions parallel those of his belated brother Bassem. Whenever soldiers invade the village, Ashraf is there on the front line to protect Bil'in's land and defend his fellow villagers from army brutalities. Unfortunately, Ashraf has first hand experiences with dehumanizing Israeli army violence and has been arrested for numerous times for taking part in peaceful acts of resistance.
